After dealing with a second bout of Graves disease, doctors recommended radiation or surgery to remove my thyroid.
I chose to pursue alternative therapies. Since beginning treatments with Sydnie, two of my three blood tests for thyroid hormone
levels have been normal. My doctor is quite surprised and I am thrilled to feel healthy again. I would highly recommend Sydney
Bryant. She has a warm, gentle touch that makes you relax, feeling so safe and confident that you will forget she is using
needles! My results from acupuncture treatments for arthritis in my hands and for thyroid disease have been exceptionally
positive. I could not be more satisfied or relieved. -Anonymous I went to see Jessica because I was having
pain and the clinic was right upstairs from where I work out. I have had plantar faciitis for many years and never got very
much relief from any other medical modality. After 2 treatments with Jessica my heel pain was much relieved and I haven't
had any problems since. -JoAnn

At 44, I suffered a stroke in my right eye (branch retinal arterial occlusion) which left an area of dead nerve
cells on my retina and a blindspot in my vision. The prognosis from the retina specialist (MD) was not good; it was unlikely
that I would recover vision in the affected area. He prescribed eye drops to keep pressure down in the eye and aspirin as
an initial blood thinner to help avoid additional events. Worse, I was at risk for additional clots/strokes in the eye and
elsewhere, so the cause needed to be determined since this type of event is very rare in persons under 70 without high blood
pressure / heart disease. After much testing, a blood clotting disorder was diagnosed; antiphospholipid antibody syndrome.
The blood specialist (MD) indicated that APS is not well understood, additional clots are likely and unpredictable, treatment
options are limited and have unknown effectiveness. At that point, I researched alternative medicine options to avoid taking
blood thinners with ugly side effects and to see if there was anything else that might help. I found that acupuncture is
the primary treatment for stroke in China; I was intrigued but skeptical, but also desperate for something that might help.
I sought out an acupuncturist, looking for one with autoimmune disorder experience, and found Sydnie Bryant. At my first appointment, Sydnie explained that the treatment was whole body rather than single symptom. She also answered
any questions that I had during our sessions and made me feel comfortable. My philosophy after our first meeting was that
whether or not acupuncture helped the stroke, if my migraines were better, it would be absolutely worth it. The results: After being treated by Sydnie for 5 weeks, I returned to the retina specialist; he said that my eye had recovered
much further and more quickly than he would have expected and that he saw no other potential occlusions in either eye. When
I told him I'd been seeing an acupuncturist and taking a Chinese herbal remedy, he said to keep doing whatever it is that
you're doing, because it's working. As an added bonus, my migraines are much reduced in number and severity (we're
hoping to see them stop completely!), my allergies are so reduced that I no longer take prescription meds, my digestion is
better, and I'm sleeping better than I have in years (stress reduction). I am amazed at my progress in 5 short weeks,
and although I still am not sure how it works, I now have no doubts that acupuncture does work. -Skeptical no more in
Pittsburgh, PA After several people from different parts of my life mentioned that they thought I would
benefit from acupuncture, I went to Wholistic Acupuncture. I went without really knowing why. After the first treatment with
Jessica, I noticed differences in my body, and other people noticed as well. One significant change is that I no longer find
myself always feeling warm. My skin does not feel warm all the time, and this autumn, I find myself needing to grab a jacket
when I go outside. I love to have a treatment at Wholistic Acupuncture on Friday because I feel that it helps me start my
weekend the right way. I am more in balance and relaxed. -L. S. As someone who wants to age gracefully,
but not quickly, I came to Jessica to try "cosmetic acupuncture". I was very impressed with the treatment - it
was comfortable and very relaxing - and I liked the results. I found that in addition to looking healthier I was also sleeping
better, which has always been a problem for me. I followed up with the 10 treatments for cosmetic acupuncture and now I come
in every now and then when I feel I need an overall boost. I still sleep soundly and attribute this to the balancing effects
of the treatments. I would highly recommend Jessica as an acupuncturist. She was very professional, kind and skilled. -Anonymous Sydnie, with her healing abilities, led me on a journey, both physically and emotionally
through menopause. This was the most important and sometimes turbulent passage of my life and I was able to move through it
without using hormone replacement. There was even a spiritual component to her gentle care with acupuncture and chinese medicines.
I will always be grateful for my healing experience with her. -RML, Austin Texas Sydnie is a powerful
healer. Her vast knowledge of natural health and Chinese medical principles are supported by intuitive wisdom and a gentle
but confident touch. My life has beengreatly transformed by working with and simply knowing Sydnie." -MP, Austin,
TX Acupuncture has been one of the best things I have ever done for myself. I feel more balanced and clear while
also losing weight. Jessica and Syd are old souls doing what old souls do, helping others. -Anonymous
