Cosmetic acupuncture, also known as facial renewal acupuncture or acupuncture facelift, treats the whole person with an emphasis on the face. During a cosmetic acupuncture treatment, clients are first asked to identify the areas of their face that they are concerned about. A diagram is used to help facilitate choice of specific areas. During the treatment, the face is first massaged using tuina (a Chinese form of bodywork), cleansed with calming lavender and then painless, tiny sub-dermal needles are inserted around the areas of concern. Acupuncture points on the body are also used to achieve a complete treatment of renewal.

Cosmetic acupuncture works by increasing circulation of qi and blood throughout the face which stimulates collagen production, increases elasticity, lessens the appearance of fine wrinkles, tightens the skin, and produces a radiant, healthy glow. Treatment Protocol

For optimal results, treatments are scheduled twice a week for 5 weeks (10 treatments), but more may be needed depending on your skin condition.

Each treatment takes 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Results can last from 3 to 5 years. After the initial treatment regimen, a maintenance schedule can be tailored to your needs.
